CONGRESS DEPARTMENT
The ever increasing number of international congresses has
meant that organizing these events has become
a specialty field in its own right. Demand for congresses
come from a great variety of fields such as fine arts, medical
sciences, human behavior, social services, industry and commerce,
alI of which demand different expertise.
Ease of travel, increase in disposable income and leisure
time have allcontributed to a rapid expansion in congress
industry. Parallel to these positive factors, the advance
in scientific and technical know-how has resulted in greater
specialization in a narrower field necessitating in greater
face to face meetings for the exchange and discussion of developing
concepts. Furthermore the subsidizing of the overall cost
of participants by their companies or organizations has had
a very positive effect on the rapid expansion in this sector.

The most importartant facet of organizing an international congress
is the consequence of long term planning. To plan, prepare"
and disseminate information about a major conference can take
between 6 to 7 years. At Magister today we are currently working
on a variety of congresses up to 2007. The contract for many
of these events have already been signed.
This labor is the direct result of Magister's confidence in
the future and its long term view of congress industry, without
expecting a short term return. Moreover, Magister is prepared
to finance the preliminary work required to introduce a congress
with such items as planning, finance management, leaflets, flyers,
printing of posters, overseas trips, etc.
Success in a job done is dependent on attention to the minor
details. Magister's success and client satisfaction is based
on such attention.
